LIGHTech's optical
components are engineered for compactness and flexibility to
facilitate seamless integration into a variety of telecom and datacom
network applications. Signal routing, optical performance monitoring,
WDM add/drop, ring restoration, test access, and power management are
typical applications.
We are currently
conducting an extensive qualification program to verify the ability of
our hermetically packaged components to meet Telcordia 1221
standards. Quantitative reliability data and specifications
attesting to the long-term operational capabilities of LIGHTech's
products are available upon request.

solutions, complete with fiber management, offer a timely and

Optical Protection Module -
The operating mode allows the output from primary transmitter to be
switched to the output from a secondary source via use of an automatic
protection operating decision based on the detection of analogue
reference levels of the primary and secondary sources. Manual
over-ride is available via the host management system, which also
provides real-time status monitoring of each channel.
Smart VOA Array -
- Accommodates from 2 to 8 up channels
- Voltage control attenuation range of 0 to 20 dB
